Pembrokeshire has a wealth of natural attractions and activites to offer the visitor, providing plentyof choice for both the energetic and those wishing for a more tranquil and relaxing holiday. WEST ANGLE BAY AND FRESHWATER WEST


Pembrokeshsire has a rich cultural and historic heritage and plenty of activities to suit both young and old. For outdoor enthusiasts there is not only wide ranging water based sports, (surfing, sailing, diving and fishing) but also horse riding (some along beaches) climbing, bird watching and walking. The Pembrokeshire National Park includes nearly 200 miles of Coastal Path walks through the spectacular scenery of the County.


Pembrokeshire is steeped in history from Bronze and Stone Ages Standing Stones and burial chambers in
the Preseli Hills to castles such as Pembroke, Manorbier or Carew. St. David's Cathedral
and the remains of the Bishop's Palace is well worth a visit, as is the smallest 'city' of St. Davids itself.
There are numerous historic houses in the county many with interesting gardens particularly in
the late Spring when the rhododendrons are in full bloom.

For those occasional dull days there are plenty of local craft shops and galleries that are well worth visiting, pottery, weaving, glass blowing and local artists. There is a range of leisure facilities for the younger tourists, Folly Farm with plenty of farm animals(children can help feed the animals)and an indoor play centre; Oakwood with its selection of white knuckle rides for older children and more gentle ones for the younger; The Crystal Maze; Heron's Brook; bowling; go-karting and quad bikes.
